A New Vision of Nutrition for Life
Many believe that eating right is for one week, one month, and a half a year, like a diet to lose weight. The correct vision for eating right is “A New Vision”.
One must embrace a new lifestyle, realizing the impact that faulty nutrition has on the mind, soul, and body. Without the correct nutrients, our mind cannot think and our body slowly degenerates into a disease-ridden state. The joy of life leaves us and we become parasites to our own faulty lifestyle. Eating correctly takes educating yourself and becoming aware of our food nutrients for ourselves and our families.
My story is as many stories. I did not eat correctly in University where I studied Fashion and Economics. After being in the advertising industry for some years and getting married, I soon realized I needed to make changes in my life in order to stay healthy. When I switched to organic lighter-protein menus, people thought I was radical. Today things have changed. People have become more aware of toxins in the environment and over-processed “dead” food.
I became sick in 1998 due to hydrocarbons from
an oil furnace at our farm.
I became sick in 1998 due to hydrocarbons from an oil furnace at our farm. I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue and told to go on anti-depressants. This was a two year journey for me trying to find why I was sick. My diet was perfect; I exercised, and took supplements. However, I was still sick. I began to read about environmental diseases and finally concluded that our oil furnace was causing hydrocarbons which my immune system could not take. The oil furnace was removed and electric heat was put in. This cured my illness within months. I was astonished how well I felt. Since then I became passionate about health. I went back to school to become a registered Holistic Nutritionist and Orthomolecular Practitioner and presently am doing a Master’s in Holistic Nutrition Education. In practice I help individuals to change their vision for life and totally embrace new ways of living healthy. It is exciting to see people change their lives to healthy eating and becoming “alive” again without “aches and pains”.
My vision for everyone is to embrace
“A New Vision of Nutrition for Life”.
